We care about our staff too
Bridge House has 9 full time staff, led by Sherrel Fikeis. We are an established team: our staff just don't want to leave! Clients and visitors often comment about how much we enjoy our work.
These dedicated employees are friendly, experienced and knowledgeable in the management of the specific conditions and disabilities for which we cater.
We do not employ temporary staff. We feel this is an important aspect of commitment to our clients, and benefits the carer-client relationship.
It is important to us that all our staff receive ongoing training. Having been awarded the Investors in People standard we ensure the development of our staff, having them continually progress up the levels available in NVQs in Care. Sherrel has received the "Registered Managers Award" and soon others will achieve this too.
We have an excellent relationship with a local medical centre whose GPs are available for any unforeseen medical problem.
